Fish or No Fish? This week's challenge at Scrap & Stamp (:

This week we have sketch challenge at Scrap & Stamp. I hope you will join us! Just remember to use a stamp somewhere on your layout and make sure you link up your page for a chance to win!

Last weekend I went fishing with my family. By the time we were all organized and drove the hour or so out to Manitoulin Island, it was after lunch. Needless to say we didn't catch any fish (we should have been there early in the morning if we wanted to do that!) but we all had a great time (: Here is what I came up with using the sketch as my inspiration (:

For this layout I used Echo Park's Everybody Loves Christmas paper pack and stickers. The snowflakes were made using an EK Success punch. All other products were CTMH, Free Spirit, All You Need, State of Mind, and Delightful Alphabet stamp sets, cs, buttons, waxy flax, and paint.

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Sticky Feet

These pages are the second layout I made using the Miracle WOTG from CTMH. I changed it up a little bit with the pics and stamps I used but it's pretty close to the one in the guide.

These are pics of Kieran doing sticky feet (: Whenever we would go up to the park at camp he would pull his socks off, or ditch his shoes, and use his "sticky feet" to climb the pole. He was pretty quick for such a little guy!! The big kids couldn't believe it when they saw him go up!! They of course, had to try it for themselves, and to be honest I didn't think the pole was going to survive (:

I used the little footprints from the Do Nothing stamp, and the title was stamped using the Hodge Podge Alphabet, and the lines were stamped with Journalling Jots. I think everything else, except the buttons and ink, was in the kit. Everything on this layout was CTMH.

A Sun Fun Day

I used CTMH's Miracle Workshop on the Go (WOTG) kit to do this layout. The kit comes with a paper pack (12 dp 10 cs), a stamp set which is only available with the kit, a workshop guide on how to make the layout and 3 card designs, and then some sort of embellishment, in this case it was the Kraft Colour-Ready Borders.
Other products used were CTMH's Bohemian Alphabet stamp set (LOVE IT!!!!)and some buttons.

I have to admit the pleated paper is going to take a bit of practice but I really like the look.

The pictures are from out at camp (Manitoulin Island) this past summer. Our friends, Stacey & Dave and their kids came for a visit, and these are some pics from when we went to the park to play.

BIG NEWS!!!! and Get Ready to Punch!!

I found out earlier this week that I was chosen to be a member of the Scrap & Stamp Design Team!!!! I am so excited!! This is my first design team so I'm a bit nervous but am also very happy to be a part of this talented group of women!!! Scrap and Stamp is perfect for those of us who love to use stamps on our layouts!! If you have never tried it, you should!! It's amazing how much a stamp or two can add to your layout (: Challenges are posted every Saturday, with inspiration from the DT, and you have 2 weeks to post your layout.

This is my layout for my first challenge Get Punchy (use some sort of punch, border, images, hole punch etc). On it I used my MS butterfly punch, and a Fiskars border punch to make the flower.
Other products used are: BG dp, CTMH Bohemian Alpha, ink, and cs, Prima leaves, Kaiser Kraft pearl.

This page features my oldest son and his girlfriend. She is a very sweet, funny, intelligent girl who brings out the best in Codie (: She has quickly become a part of our family!!

I'm planning on sending this to a dear friend who I don't get to see near enough ):

Products Used: Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, Prima paper, Recollections & CTMH flowers, copics, nesties, and SU punch, CTMH bling and ribbon.

Sorry the colour isn't the best ): I had to take the pic inside at night.

Us~2010

The challenge at Scrap & Stamp last week was to do a layout of your year in review. So with the kids' help we narrowed down 32 pics to these 13. A lot went on this year but these were the things the kids felt were most important. The pic with me and Kimmie (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps) was one of the only pics I have of myself  for this year ): I really need to hand the camera over more often!! The sketches I used were from CTMH Reflections book. The paper and stickers are BG Wanderer, and the stamps were all CTMH. I used the new CTMH Irresistibles Eclectic die cut letters and sponged them with green ink. They are really neat with a few different patterns. The number are also CTMH die cuts but I stamped them to get the background.
